Kuan Yin

Kuan Yin, or Quan Yin, is a bodhisattva of infinite compassion and forgiveness in east asian buddhism. Her name translates to "observing the sounds of the world," indicating her compassionate ability to listen for pleas of help so that she can come to the aid of the needy.
